Mobile roadside help across Dubai

Car Jumpstart Service in Dubai, Backed by Full Roadside Support

A clicking starter or a dimming dashboard usually means a flat battery, and a portable booster often gets you moving again without replacing anything.

Car Jumpstart Pros sends mobile technicians to homes, offices and roadsides across the city, with tyre, fuel, towing and recovery help from the same team.

Diagnosis first

Why a Car Refuses to Start

A no-start is a symptom, not a diagnosis. These are the faults that most often leave drivers stuck, and knowing which one you have decides whether a boost is enough.

Find the cause, then fix it

A quick test at the roadside separates a drained battery from a failing part.

Drained by accessories

Headlights, interior lamps, a dashcam or a charger left running can empty a healthy battery while the engine is off.

Worn out by heat

High under-bonnet temperatures age a battery from the inside, so it may work one morning and fail the next.

Alternator not charging

If the alternator stops charging, a boost only lasts until the battery runs flat again.

Dirty or loose terminals

White or green deposits on the clamps block current even when the battery itself still holds charge.

Parked for weeks

Alarms and onboard electronics keep drawing a little power, so a car left during travel slowly loses charge.

Nothing left in the tank

A starter that spins but never catches can simply mean the fuel has run out.

Quick guide

Match the Symptom to the Fix

Start with what the car is doing, then follow the wire to the usual cause and the help that sorts it out.

  1. Fault 01

    Clicks, will not crank

    What you notice

“The starter clicks but the engine will not turn”

Likely causeThe battery is too low to spin the starter motor.

What fixes itA battery boost at your location, followed by a quick charging check.

  2. Fault 02

    Dies after a boost

    What you notice

“It starts after a boost, then dies again”

Likely causeThe alternator is probably not recharging the battery while you drive.

What fixes itA charging system test, then alternator or dynamo repair if needed.

  3. Fault 03

    Swollen or old battery

    What you notice

“The battery case is swollen, leaking or very old”

Likely causeThe battery has reached the end of its life and will not hold charge.

What fixes itA replacement battery fitted where the car is parked.

  4. Fault 04

    Cranks, never catches

    What you notice

“The engine cranks but never catches”

Likely causeOften an empty fuel tank, especially if the gauge was already low.

What fixes itPetrol or diesel brought to the car so you can drive to a station.

  5. Fault 05

    Flat or leaking tyre

    What you notice

“A tyre is flat or losing air”

Likely causeA puncture, a damaged valve or a tyre that has come off the rim.

What fixes itPuncture repair on the spot, or your spare wheel fitted.

  6. Fault 06

    Stuck after a crash

    What you notice

“The car cannot be driven after an accident”

Likely causeDamage that makes the vehicle unsafe or impossible to move.

What fixes itRecovery or a flatbed tow, with the price agreed first.

The method

What Happens During a Jump Start

A boost lends the starter motor enough power for a few seconds of cranking. Connected in the wrong order it can create sparks or electrical faults, so the sequence matters.

Clamp order matters
  1. Inspect before connecting

The battery case is checked for cracks, swelling or leaks. A damaged unit should be replaced rather than boosted.

  2. Red lead goes on first

The positive clamp is attached to the positive post of the flat battery, then to the booster.

  3. Earth away from the battery

The black lead goes onto bare metal on the engine or chassis, keeping any spark away from gas the battery can release.

  4. Start, then remove in reverse

Once the engine is running, the clamps come off in the opposite order to how they went on.

  5. Test the charging

A voltage reading with the engine running shows whether the alternator is refilling the battery or whether the car is likely to stall again.

Getting help

Three Steps from Breakdown to Driving

There is no app to download and nothing to sign up for.

1

Call or message

Phone the hotline or send a WhatsApp describing what the car is doing.

2

Drop a map pin

A shared location helps the technician find you, even on a busy road or in a large car park.

3

Wait somewhere safe

Stay clear of passing traffic until the van arrives and the technician takes over.

How Summer Heat Wears Down a Car Battery

Heat speeds up the chemistry inside a lead-acid battery. That also speeds up plate corrosion, water loss from the electrolyte and self-discharge, which is why batteries in hot climates tend to age faster than those in cooler countries.

Warning signs worth acting on:

  • Slow, laboured cranking
  • Headlights that dim at idle
  • A battery lamp that stays lit
  • A swollen or bulging case
  • Crusty deposits on the terminals

Heat damage builds up quietly. Testing a battery that shows these signs is far easier than waiting for it to give up in a car park.

Which Battery Does Your Car Use?

Modern cars rely on different battery technologies, and fitting the wrong one can upset a start-stop system.

FLA

Flooded lead-acid

The conventional design, common in older cars without automatic start-stop.

Best forCars without start-stop

EFB

EFB (Enhanced Flooded)

Made for entry-level start-stop systems, usually in cars without braking energy recovery.

Best forEntry-level start-stop

AGM

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat)

The electrolyte sits in glass fibre mats. Found in cars with advanced start-stop and braking energy recovery.

Best forAdvanced start-stop

Start-stop rule: a car that came with an AGM needs an AGM again. Moving up from EFB to AGM is possible; moving down is not.

Questions Drivers Ask Before Calling

  • The risk comes from wrong connections or voltage spikes. A regulated jump pack, connected in the correct order, keeps that risk low.
